What did Harold and Kumar went looking for?
White Castle

You have to stop at a White Castle if you ever come across one. They're the best sliders ever! And it's so hard to eat just one. They may be a bit small (that's why you should get a lot) but they're freaking awesome! The buns are soft and warm and the meat patty is thin and juicy. And it's cheap! I wish they would have White Castles everywhere like McD's. Sadly, I've only seen them in the East Coast. Next time I go to NYC, I'm going to sit there and see how many I can eat in one sitting ;p
America runs on Dunkin
Dunkin Donuts

Aside from their sweet and decadent donuts, you have to try their hash browns. I love their hash browns! They look like flat tater tots and they are my favorite. I've had them at all the Dunkin Donuts I've been to. And remember, you have to run on their coffee. Just like the commercials, they're really good. I remember I was in NYC and some guy in the streets said to me 'damn that looks good'...he was referring to my coffee. He then asked me for it. Haha it was the most strangest yet funniest moment ever. And yes I gave him my coffee ;p
Prosperity Dumplings is the spot in NYC
46 Eldridge Street New York, NY 10002
(212) 343-0683

Looking for a cheap snack? Look no further, you have found the spot. Well I did thanks to a friend's recommendation ;p Prosperity Dumpling is a hole in the wall spot situated in the streets of Chinatown in NYC. You walk in and you get to see everything in the kitchen. That's how small this place is. But don't let that stop you from going inside. The dumplings are made to order and they're super cheap. I mean you get 5 dumplings for $1. What can you buy with a $1 these days? Well here you get choice of either boiled or pan fried dumplings that are delicious ;) They have a selection of pork and vegetarian dumplings. The wrapper outside are nice and tender while the filling are stuffed generously and juicy to the bite. Now that's a deal ;p There is very limited seating inside so just snack outside. No one stopped us ;p
I love it so much...I took it to my own Prom!!!
Tapioca Express
4646 Convoy St # 106, San Diego
(858) 636-7889 www.tapiocaexpress.com

My all time favorite snack since I was in high school was spicy chicken prepared at the local boba shops that started popping up everywhere (it use to be the beginning of the boba shop trend). It's a version of what we all know as popcorn chicken seasoned with spices and fried basil. YUMMM!!!!! I usually get my orderspicy but you can also order it mild, medium, and even extra spicy if you can handle it. Ask for a side of ranch and/or sweet n sour sauce for dipping. It's absolutely addicting and I use to get an order of spicy chicken every week...no joke ;p Back then I use to get it from Lollicup and then Tapioca Express; Lollicup eventually closed. And yes I brought a bag of spicy chicken to my own prom as my dinner because my date was late. I think I can say I had the cheapest yet tastiest prom dinner compared to everyone else. It's less than $4 a bag and I would pay so much more for it. They offer a combination rice meal that includes the spicy chicken over a bed of rice, egg, and vegetables all for less than $8. Pretty good deal if you're really hungry ;p I've gotten my mom hooked on this stuff and she gets cravings for it (as do I). My friends and I usually order a bag and a drink and just hangout. Let me warn you though, the plaza that it's located in can be considered the Asian town of San Diego and parking can be difficult. They have multiple locations but only one in San Diego. If you're in other cities like Garden Grove, San Jose, and San Francisco, stop by one of those locations and grab a bag of spicy chicken; it's a franchise chain so the menu should be the same.
Nothing fancy but I love
Lee's Pate

Ever since I was a little kid, I have always snacked on pate and toast/bread. People usually see pate as a luxury food item like caviar and foie gras that can be paired with wine. To me, pate was as affordable as peanut butter. I, however, preferred pate on toast over jam or peanut butter ;p I've tasted many different store brands and ones from the sandwich shops in my time. My favorite would be the small container found at Lee's Sandwiches franchise stores. I can't get enough of it. And it's only $3. Who knew that pork liver can be so good?
